A 4-Day long training program on ‘Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) Practices in The Leather Sector’ was taken place at the conference hall of a hotel named ‘Four Season’ at Dhaka from July 25 to July 28, 2016 jointly organized by ‘ECOLEBAN (A concern of EU, swithasia) and LETSB (Leather Engineers and Technologists Society, Bangladesh)’.
Mr. Sonjoy Thakur, Technical Expert, ECOLEBAN; Mr. Sobur Ahmed, Associate Professor, ILET (Institute of Leather Engineering and Technology), Mr. Amal Kanti Deb, Lecturer, ILET; Mr. Afzal Hossain, Vice President, LETSB and Mr. Firoj Khan Nun, International Affairs Secretary, LETSB delivered their valued presentation describing all issues of ‘Sustainable Consumption and Production’ like definition, necessity, methods, feasibility, capacity building, tools, measures, parameters, advantages, practices and so on; in the different span of time during the first 2-day session in respect of Bangladesh Leather Sector. And last 2-day session was designed for ISO in terms of sustainability of Leather Sector and it was presented by Mr. Abu SMM Monsurul Hakim, Management Consultant, Mr. Mosharrof Hossain Jamil, Social Consultant on EMS and Mr. Bashar Expert ISO, ECOLEBAN.
