Tanners in Bangladesh took part in a four-day training programme on sustainable production at the end of July.
The event took place in Dhaka and was jointly organised by the Leather Engineers and Technologists Society of Bangladesh (LETSB) and by ECOLEBAN, a four-year project supported by the European Union under a wider programme called Switch Asia, that aims specifically to promote sustainability in the leather sector in Bangladesh.
ECOLEBAN will run until 2018.
