Belarus government has appointed LETSB member Mr. Aniruddha Kumar Roy, also the Managing Director of RMM Group, as Honorary Consul of the country to Bangladesh.
Vladimir Makei, minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Belarus, gave appointment to Aniruddha Roy through an office order, says a press release.
Foreign minister AH Mahmood Ali endorsed the acceptance of Aniruddha Roy’s appointment in an order in Dhaka recently.
Earlier, Mr. Roy was recognized as CIP by the Government of Bangladesh for several times for his special role in industrialization and export business of Leather, Footwear and Ready Made Garments.
Being appointed as first honorary consul of Belarus, Mr. Roy said that he will work for developing business and cultural relationship between Belarus and Bangladesh.
